Another Chance
As we enter into a NEW YEAR, what keeps ringing in my spirit isn’t fireworks, resolutions, or countdowns—it’s ANOTHER CHANCE. And for that, I am truly grateful.
Grateful that even with all my self‑doubt, procrastination, worry, lack of time, lack of energy, kids, work, and the endless list of things that try to pull me in every direction… God still whispers, “I’m giving you another chance.”
It reminds me of Lamentations 3:22–23, where Jeremiah says that God’s mercies “are new every morning.” Not once a year. Not only when we have it all together. Every. Single. Morning. That means every sunrise is another chance to get up, try again, and walk in purpose.
And listen—His name isn’t Biggie, but I’m so glad He gave me “one more chance”! lol
This year, I’m relaunching my podcast with a new name… drumroll please… “With Love, Your Homegirl” I’m excited about the journey God has me on and where He’s taking me. And yes, it will still be rooted in Proverbs 31—because what did sis do? She took care of her home, girl!
Proverbs 31:27 says, “She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.” That verse has been tugging at me in this season. God is calling me to be a better steward over what He has placed in my hands—my home, my man, these kids, my career, our business, and even the parts of me He’s still shaping.
And I hold onto Philippians 1:6, which reminds us that “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” That’s where my confidence comes from. Not from my own strength, but from the God who knows me better than I know myself.
We already had a long talk—me and Him—and like the loving Father He is, He gave me clear instructions for this next season. So here I am, stepping into it with gratitude, courage, and expectation.
So, I ask each of you to be prayerful for me, just as I am prayerful for you, as we maximize this gift God keeps giving us…
ANOTHER CHANCE.
One Pan Garlic Chicken Pasta
Weeknight cooking used to feel like a full‑on production—multiple pots, pans, timers, and a sink full of dishes waiting to judge you afterward. But one‑pan meals? They’re stepping onto the scene like the hero we didn’t know we needed.
One‑pan dishes are changing the game, and honestly, it’s about time.
